Today I produced a new digital painting of an Angel. It took me about roughly three hours to complete. I know I should be working on them for longer, but I can always go back to them at a later stage. As with my last digital piece, I scanned in a drawing I had done in pencil and then proceded to colour and manipulate the image in Photoshop.
The original sketch was created as a tattoo design for a friend. I looked at it earlier and felt that it was fine subject matter for a Digital Painting.
The above pic has most of the colour in place, but not many highlights or a background had yet been added.
This is the 'Completed' Piece. Im still figuring out whether or not the 'Haze' adds to the angelic-ness of the piece or detracts from the piece in general. I will most likely try a few more effects on this piece in the near future...
